Earth represents strength, stability, order, endurance, grounding, silence, birth, death, beginnings, endings, fertility and sensuality, abundance and prosperity so Earth magic is practiced to encourage these. It is a feminine element. The colors to represent Earth are green and brown. The tool is the pentacle. The time of day is midnight. The season for Earth is winter. Earth is connected with the North. The sense of touch is associated with the Earth element. Salt and soil are used to represent Earth in magic and spells. Earth magic is often slower to manifest than air and fire magic, but the result will be long lasting.
